What is the trick for Full Screen?  I have a white border and stops at taskbar.

 

The white border is the app frame. Nothing I do seems to remove it. I can remove the top title bar but then you lose the ability to min/max the app.

Indeed an interesting idea, but hardly full screen. This white frame even stays when watching videos from emby. Chrome Apps such as Mado and the Allcast receiver seem to manage this a bit smarter. 

Mine is cutting off at my profile. I assume there should be an icon next to it that I can't see? Also doesn't show my user picture.

 

Cool idea to have a dedicated app but I guess I just dont see the need for it, especially one that cant do full screen. Just open Emby in Chrome and press F11, also if you want a dedicated icon for your desktop/taskbar just add that page to your desktop (see screen shot)

I think you guys will be happier with the version that is pushing out now. There are limitations to full screen but it is much more how you expect it now.

Nice! Full screen works great now, this is defiantly easier than hitting F11 every time. Although I have not been able to create a shortcut for the desktop or task bar.

 

 

Now that the chrome app launcher for PC is discontinued it would be nice to have an icon that launches the app.

We can move this discussion to the new Chrome App forum thread. Post what OS you are using because in Win10 Chrome created a shortcut in the start menu (like any other app) for the Emby App.

You can right click the app on the app screen and create a desktop shortcut, or press esc in full screen and pin to taskbar.

I have a bit cut off to the right of the screen but i'm sure it will be sorted in future updates. I doubt it's something I'll use on a daily basis but nice to know it's there if I want to use it.
