This is the stable release of the previous beta, which you can read all about here:

http://emby.media/community/index.php?/blog/1/entry-239-introducing-the-new-live-tv-for-emby-and-emby-server-beta-305713/

Here's what changed during the beta period:

A Better TV Guide

The guide now has more clearly defined distinctions between program and channels cells:

New Kodi Dlna Profile

If you use Dlna with Kodi, we've added a new profile designed to encourage as much direct play as possible. Thanks to the community member who supplied this.

New Bravia 2014 Profile

Also from the community we've added a Dlna profile for Sony Bravia 2014 models.

More Efficient Scheduled Tasks

Many of the tasks have been updated to run less frequently, and many have been removed from startup, enabling you to start the server and enjoy your media immediately.

NFO Parsing Improvements

We're now able to handle nfo's containing Ascii art and an imdb url.

Remote Control Improvements

Now when you control a player, you'll have the option to shutdown the app on the remote device (if applicable). This has been requested for Chromecast quite a bit recently.

New Video Deep Scanning

If you can live with longer scans when importing new videos, then enable the new frame by frame analysis setting. In return the server will be able to further optimize transcoding by encouraging video stream copying whenever possible.

I just received the new update yesterday and went to configure my tuner. I see that my only option for tuners is HDHomerun. I have a hauppague 2250 internal tuner. Is there any future plans to incorporate internal tuners like this?

Don't know if it is a dumb question but just to clarify, is it better to have frame by frame analysis higher or lower than 600MB?

If i can already see my tuners in there, is it because I'm running WMC or might it support/see the internal tuners I have already?

Hello,

I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 and I did not manage to update the server. I get this error message:

W: Failed to fetch http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/emby/{Repository}/Packages  404  Not Found [iP: 2001:67c:2178:8::13 80]

E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Thanks

I have recently got rid of my HDHomerun Primes and now have Dual ATSC OTA Tuners from Silicon Dust, I have removed the ServerWMC plugin and loaded this version and when I go to the LiveTV section of setup and select the Tuner option all I get is the "BUSY" circle and it never loads that section or shows any tuners.

Are the tuners I have not compatible or am I missing something?

After updating my emby->wmc plugin fails to start.... just giving me the error message [unable to start "emby"].

Web client still run just fine.
